Location: On-site position at a job site in Webster, TX, within the Greater Houston Area.
Position Overview: The Project Manager plays an important role in the success of our projects by ensuring the timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery of contractual requirements. As the central point of contact and team leader, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of projects, from initiation to completion. This dynamic role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the assigned contract, ensuring its successful execution.
- Lead and supervise the direct staff, ensuring they adhere to contract terms and company policies.
- Achieve and exceed all performance targets outlined in the contract.
- Ensure successful performance during contract audits and maintain compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Operate power equipment as required for project completion and maintenance (As Needed).
- Prioritize and enforce the company’s Safety Program among all employees.
- Oversee training programs for new hires and conduct regular training sessions for all employees.
- Manage day-to-day ground maintenance and landscaping project operations, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Supervise, train, and mentor team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, asset control, purchasing, budget management, and employee performance evaluations.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with clients, staff, and the corporate/executive team.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by working collaboratively with fellow employees.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring that all work meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Must successfully pass a driving background check, a federal background check, and a drug test.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in project management, grounds maintenance, or landscaping.
- In-depth knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and techniques
- Must obtain and maintain a valid pesticide license
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in project management or related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
